Synopsis: 

Liu Sanjie,a legendary folk female singer in Zhuang minority in Guangxi Autonomous Region, falls into a river and is rescued by an old fisher. She sings song to praise the in dustrious people while condemns the vicious landlords. In the village she newly arrived at, the landlord tries to forbid her from singing, which is determined by a singing contest. THe landlord invites three scholars to sing but they are put into shame by her cute and witty inging. Angrily, the landlord kidnapped her in his home. With the help of Ah Niu, a young man she loves and others, Liu Sanjie escapes and moves to other places to in spire people with folk songs.
